Our Junior GAA team had their first match yesterday, Tuesday 16th of March. We played away to St Damien’s National School on Robert Emmett’s pitch.
We selected a panel of 19 boys to represent our school and they made us so proud. For 9 of these boys, it was their first ever GAA match!
Our team put on a fantastic display of skill and determination. Despite a tough battle and a narrow loss, the team showed great teamwork, spirit, and sportsmanship from start to finish. Every player gave their all, and there were some brilliant scores and tackles throughout the game. We are very proud of their effort and look forward to seeing them build on this experience in their next match
